We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
Information you provide through our enquiry form: name, company, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry and the content of your message. Technical information generated automatically when you visit the website: IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely.
Why we use it and on what basis
Responding to your enquiry and discussing potential collaboration: legitimate interests (running our business and answering the people who contact us), and where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse of our forms: legitimate interests. Complying with legal and regulatory obligations: legal obligation. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Your data may be processed by service providers acting on our instructions: our website hosting and form provider (Webflow, Inc.), which delivers form submissions to our mailbox. Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom; where they do, transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a business relationship follows, in which case the data is kept for the duration of that relationship and for the period required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise any right, email hello@iaid.world or write to our registered office. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
